VDV-POW80: Universal power transformer for valve amplifiers
With its many primary voltage taps, this power transformer is happy all over the world. Two secondary windings of 270 V each deliver the high supply voltage. A 50 V winding is intended for the negative control grid supply (to set the quiescent current through power tubes). A 6.3 V winding of 4 A delivers power to the filaments. Together with the VDV-GIT80 this power transformer is the ideal combination for many valve amplifiers with output powers ranging from 5 to 80-100 Watt.
